Lake Kaweah Fishing has been impacted by a decrease in the lake's water level. The river is the best place to catch trout. They are biting on crickets. Night fishing with chicken liver and anchovies is best for catfish. Bass are scattered throughout the lake at 35 to 40-foot depths. They can be caught by drop shotting jigs. Few crappie are biting on minnows.

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. Sgt. 1st Class Brian Troxel, and Staff Sgt.Tom Leshovsky won the FLW Walleye National Guard SoldierAppreciation Tournament in Devils Lake, N.D., this week. The team,fishing with pro Dan Stier of Mina, caught three walleyes for atotal of 11 pounds, 8 ounces to take the title and bragging rightsamongst its peers.
