Former Canuck Morrison kicks off B.C. fishing derby with game of ball hockey

TOFINO, B.C. - Former Vancouver Canucks centre Brendan Morrison joined 40 children and teens for a game of ball hockey in Tofino, B.C., on Friday. Morrison, who owns a home in the Vancouver Island community, helped kick off the first annual Tofino Saltwater Classic Fishing Derby.

Kids Fishing Rodeo To Offer Fun, Prizes

The 57th Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo will be held Friday, July 30 at Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. The Rodeo, a 2010 Long Beach Sea Festival event, is open to kids 16 and under. Kids 12 and under must be supervised by an adult, and each participant must bring their own rod and reel.
